No the owners manual is just that, "The owners manual" is gives you general info i.e. where the switches are and what they do, oil changes, tire PSI etc.etc.
The Service manual is what the techs use in back when performing maintenance and repairs on your bike.
Another good option it the "Fix my HOG" line of CD's.
