Blackline Tank Console Added To Breakout - Kinda (+ Custom Fender Lights)
#81
As for your enlistment date, damn man you're old (kidding) but seriously, I was one year old when you joined. I joined in 1994 and I'm eligible to retire this September if I want (20 yrs, no idea where it went).
Keep up the great mods on your Blue Breakout!

Install is easy:
1) Pop out center plastic cap (gently pry out with a pick)
2) Unbolt the one bolt under the plastic cap
2a)Remove seat
2b)Remove small torx bolt at bottom of stock console
3) Remove stock tank console and throw in garbage (optional)
4) Remove Fuel Top Plate and replace with 60900001 (you need to order that part to replace your current top plate which is 60900003 (trust me, I'm right, HD parts catalog is wrong) - you don't need to order a new gasket btw
5) Unplug all the fuel assembly from your old top plate and install on new top plate and reinstall
6) Install rubber trim on new Blackline Dash and trim to length
7) Install new dash using the two mounting locations - one bolt near the top of seat frame and one nut that attaches to your new Fuel Top Plate
7a)Put seat back on
7b)Go for a ride, and test out your new mod during burnouts and wheelies
8) Crack open a cold beer and enjoy your new dash
Enjoy! if you need something, or PM me!

Have the rear apart due to powdercoating the struts etc, and have the Blackline Dash on order. So figured I'd take the stock one off and said wth, might as well paint since I'm not using it and see how it looks. Can't wait until the parts arrive, hopefully no later than Wednesday.
