Parts arrived today and even thought I was decided on chroming the console now that I see it in person it has me thinking again! Help me out let me know what you think My bike is Big Blue Pearl in color the options are

1 Chrome
2 Black (As Is)
3 Powder coat to match the Big Blue Pearl

My Build is leaning to the chrome side I am planning on the 2013 CVO Chrome Turbine rims and accessories I have taken many ques from the CVO bikes however they have to much chrome even for my tastes.

One other thing I am planning on powder coating the Oil tank and Lower forks to match the Big Blue Pearl

 

I would say chrome. Color matched would be sweet as well.

 

I don't think leaving it black would look good. I'd agree with 24v...chrome it. Will be a nice contrast to the blue pearl. I might get my dash chromed later but will go with black for right now. But my bike will be vivid black...

 

Console: Chrome or blue powder coated, but I'd prefer chrome 'cause it gives a nice looking contrast.
If your planning to add CVO rims, that basically means Turbine collection wheels, sprocket and maybe brake rotors and have blue powder coated oil tank and lower fork sliders, what about the dragbars? IMHO leaving it in black wouldn't match anymore the colors of your bike. A this point you can have dragbars chromed and maybe considering even chrome fork sliders instead of powdercoating them.

Chrome it is! Off fedex to CA for chroming! now the hard part the 3 week wait for it it get back!

Anyone who did this mod have any tips on the install or is it straight forward?

As far as I read here it should be straight forward.
And now? What about the drag bars? You'll let it black (), chrome () or what else?

 

I am putting riser spacers 1.5 in. on soon to see if I like them if not it may be the reduced reach bars with the CVO risers

 

Chrome Black Line Console is on the UPS Truck I have everything done waiting for the chrome to come.
