RE: Fat Boy Windshield
If you are looking after marketI would highly recomend Memphis Shades Fats. I've had mine for almost 10 years, over the years I have lost or broken a few bolts or screws, and they will send you relacements no questions asked and NO CHARGE, NO SHIPPING!! They do put a note it the package about a donation to St Judes Childrens hospital.

I have the same bike a 05 Annv FLSTFI, I think the bike looks a lot better with out a windshield but for the long rides I use a Quick Detachable HD Low Profile Tinted. It comes up to my chin and cuts enough wind that I can ride with out goggles if need be.
I checked with Memphis Shades and they did not make a detachable for the 05. National Windhield makes one to fit the 05.

i think mine is the standard height detachable from harley. i am a short so cant see over it. take it off and on depending on the day.. good luck in what you choose. take you time maybe go to dealer and see if they will let you see what the ones you like look like on your scoot..

I tried the low profile smoked before but one ride at 50 mphs and my head was buffeted like ping pong ball. the wind is channeled right into your head with the low profile. its more wind then going without a windshield.
