Looking for some optinions here. I have a 07' nighttrain (denim black) and i was thinking about doing some more mods. I am looking for some opinions here, so fire away.

-- Blacked Out Forward Controls
Do you think this would be too much black? The chrome fwd controls add a nice contrast, but Im thinking that the blacked out look would make this bike look like one mean biatch.

-- Springer Front End.
I saw some nice lookin springers from Jeris Springers, and checkin to see if anyone has had any bad experiences or actual ridden a springerbefore. I havent been able to find that many nighttrains with a springer front end around.(looking for opinions here.)

Any comments would be appreciated.

i personnaly preffer chrome forward control on a NT ... I ll buy a set of accutronix for my NT very soon and i will take them chrome !

For the springer , a HD chrome inverted fork is very nice tooon a NT

Look at the springer pictures section ,page 13. I have an 05 springer softail and love the way it rides .I,m actually going to pull my springer apart and have it powder coated black in the next few weeks.Gotta be careful with blacking things out , before long the bike just looks plain.Some contrast is a good thing.

 

I'm looking at a springer for the front of my '06 Train also. The only one I found that I really like is an American Suspension Dragon Springer. I'll probably rake the neck before getting the frontend tho.
