I love the bike....hate the seat, hate the bars....I actually dig the pipes, but it would be nice to have something other than stock.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Also...how about turnsignal relocations? I understand it's a real pain on the newer bike. The last Harley I bought was in 07....I know there's some new things. Been out of the loop for a while....Guess I been riding too much...LOL
Pipes...most 2011 and up Softail pipes should work. The rub is that the Breakout has a wider frame and swingarm so this moves the rear bracket for the exhaust out further. This makes the pipes sit at a little bit of an angle, and could create fitment issues with the oil lines depending on the bends in the pipes.

Apes....Pick what you like. The stock risers are 1.25" diameter, so you will need 1.25" bars if you intend to keep the stock risers. Or, you can get an adapter from Wild1 that will allow you to use 1" bars with the 1.25" risers. I did not like the look of apes in the stock tall risers, so I am working on changing them. For this moment I am using Fatboy risers and no speedo. I ordered the risers from the CVO Breakout which are short and straight. They have been on back order for months.

Seats....You can get Sundowners from Harley. Bitchin' Seats is working on a seat. Danny Gray is also working on a seat. Or, you could send it to one of the places that redoes stock seats.

Again this is my opinion but I don't think there is any better bar to use than a 1.5" set of bars. They are just much more stout and to me they look the best on Softails. It's all in what you like and prefer.

Turn signal relocation is done differently but it really is not any more difficult.

Good luck finding 1.5" bars with a 1.25" riser section though. Custom made may be the only option?

Pretty easy actually. Cut wires off of hand controls. Splice new wiring onto them, and buy the single connector and pins from the dealer. Put it all together, and plug it in on the right side right behind the neck, under the tank.

I appreciate the info guys. I know the options are limited on the seats. Hoping to see C&C seats come up with something. I have one of theirs on my bagger and it really nice. Sits ya deeper in the saddle and a little further back. The bars....I definitely need apes on this bad boy. Also thinking of losing the speedo. Is there a low fuel light on the speedo on the Breakout?

I would never use 1 1/4" risers, to small for my liking. I went with the 1.5" Gangsters with the 1.5 inch risers. IMHO, it's the only way to go on the bigger bikes, Heritage, Deluxe, FB and so on.

Ok, but your speedometer is also located on your gas tank, unlike the Breakout which has it in the risers. I would love to see this mystical set of 1.5" risers with integrated speedo mount.
