Speaking of the H-D analog speedo/tach - what colors..?
I recently installed the new H-D Combination Analog Speedometer/Tachometer (p/n 74774-11) on a '13 Slim.
Not wanting to hijack the other currently running thread about the Fuel Gauges, I though I'd start a new thread and ask here, since it reminded me to.
But what colors are you guys who have these running?
I set mine up the day I installed and never really messed with it again, but there's probably room for improvement over my choices... kinda fugly actually.
My setup:
Dial: 325 Blue
LCD: 550 White
Speedo needle: 000 Red
Tach needle: 000 Red
Sorry for the crappy pic:
I'm just curious what colors other may be using that are especially easy on the eyes...

Dial and LCD - dark green, I think around 160. Needles - orange, about 018.
Club colors are green field and orange border, so I thought I'd try that... but it might change. The green is nice, but the orange is kind of washed out and not really, uh... there.
Dim instead of bright and red gauges with red, blue, or green needles would certainly be easy to see, and not hard on the eyes at night. Red and green are the easiest colors for the human eye to pick up.
To me, the colors are more of a novelty. I really just wanted all of the information at hand rather than having to constantly scroll through the options. At least on the '13, it's a thumb switch instead of the one on the side of the console...
