Can I get a 200 on there with stock swing arm

 

I believe all the Softails use the same swingarm now except the Breakout. So you should be able to fit a 200 with the right wheel/fender/spacers, etc.

 

Not sure what size wheel the slims come with, but I think my 08 deluxe had a 150 in the rear. I removed the rear wheel and installed a 200 without any issues.

 

Hey yes you can have a 200 rear on the slim swing arm, but you will need new struts and fender and wheel.

 

what is this 2001? Haven't you heard skinny is the new fat that's why it's slim.

 

I've done some research on this subject and read some threads on this subject and yes it can be done. Im looking to switch the opposite way, I have a 2009 XBones and want to swap the rear wheel for a thinner wheel and tire. One off of a Slim is what I am looking for. If your interested in a trade let me know of course the fender struts would be included. My rear wheel has 1500K miles on it.

 

Does anyone have pics of a Slim with a 200 rear tire, or a CrossBones with a narrow 150 (Slim)rear tire? Sorry to hijack your thread just don't want it to get lost, I know there are some people out there wondering the same thing.
