Another reason, reason 17, why I will never have another one of those in or around my house ever again. A wife that is! The 1st mod I would recommend is a suspension upgrade. It not only adds comfort and class but it adds a measure of safety to the bike above all else. You obviously have a good woman, do all you can to protect her and keep her as safe as possible.

Congrats to your wife! Nice bike. Tell her about the Queens of the Road forum. I'm just down the road from y'all in Tyrone. Lets ride!

Ordered the softbrake tag relocator and housing last night, will post pics as soon as I get it on.

I'll tell her about the Queens of the Road forum, hopefully she'll sign up and participate.

Did you have to replace the throttle and clutch cables or the brake line when you went to the mini-apes?

Do you have any pics? I am thinking of doing the same thing to my Deluxe.

An update on where we are with the Deluxe. I have added the softbrake tag relocation, added arlen ness engraved derby cover, points cover, shifter rod, and grips. Just finished the install of DNA fat spokes 21 up front and 18 rear. Trying to convince her she needs apes and fish tails, that may take awhile.

I almost have the bike just like I want it

Couldn't have picked a better model! Exhaust and airbox. My '13 sounded like a freaking Honda with the stock exhaust.
