Default 2013 Softail Deluxe slip on tapered mufflers

My wife just got a brand new 2013 Softail Deluxe. She wants to replace the OEM mufflers with a pair of slip ons. She likes the original tapered design so we must find a pair of mufflers that will look exactly like the stock ones. Noise: I don't like "empty" mufflers and I want to keep as much low end torque as possible. I want the engine not to be bottled in, but I don't want just noise, I want loud, nice sound. Thus far I have found the following options:

- S&S
- Khrome Werks
- Samson
- Cycle Shack

Any other option? Of the above, which ones are the best quality? My opinion is that Khrome Werks seem to be the best ones followed by S&S.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The only pipes on your list that I've tried are Cycle Shack. Had a pair on a Dyna and they sounded good and were light weight. I recently ordered a set of Cycle Shacks for my Heritage and when they arrived the chrome was cracked at the tip. I had to send them back to Cycle Shack at my own expense and 3 weeks after ordering the pipes I am still waiting for a replacement to arrive. Communication from Cycle Shack has been non existent. This will be my last set of Cycle Shacks. Quality seems to have gone down over the years and customer service is lacking.

Khrome Werks 3" tapered.
Look exactly like stock and fit just as good.
Nice low rumble much like the old glass pack mufflers.
They are pretty much straight through but not as loud as Vance and Hines but definetly louder than stock.

There are many videos on youtube.
