How far did you back out the adjuster on the clutch? And did you have the cable collapsed when you adjusted the clutch?

When i installed new
Cable it was at its longest length and I went to trying to adjust from there I had good feeling lever pressure but it just won't disengage I can put it in say first gear let out of the clutch with the engine
Not running and you can't
Push it. But the ramp and the 3 ***** on the coupler is right
And snap ring is in fine. The
Bike was working flawless before we put the new bars on

Did you adjust the actual clutch in the primary or just the cable part?

just the cable didn't see any point of having to adjust anything internally never had to do that before and the bike was working perfect when pulled it in should a man take the derby cover off and see is everything is working there?? this has me stumped

Yeah you need to pull the derby cover and adjust the clutch.
