My neighbors liked the sound. They looked at it as a wake up alarm.

I have them and I love them...
I bought them through the dealer and they instaled them for free...
When I first heard them fire it up I thought it was LOUD.

Compared to the stock pipes they were, but after a while they're really not.
I can putt out of the neighborhood without racket if I want, but they really bark when you want them to.

At cruising speeds it's just music...

Had em on a fatboy once, really good pipe. I always go with Vance and Hines pipes.

They were on my 'new to me' '02 Heritage when I bought it .... wouldn't trade them for any other exhaust.

I have them on my 2005 Fatboy...great sounding pipe in my opinion. I am very happy with them. I don't think I would want pipes any louder than these however.

Even V&Hs quiet muffs are loud when U nail it.

But they make good fitting and good quality stuff..

hard to beat the price usually vs some others makes.

Have a set on my 06 Wide Glide. They look great but are a bit loud even for me. I wear foam earplugs when riding but overall really like the look & sound of the big shot pipes.

I just picked up a 1997 FXSTC a couple of weeks ago that have the V & H Big Shots. DEFINITELY loud, but sounds great to me. I must say that I'm a little self conscious warming it up at home...many houses close by. But, I'm not lookin' back!
