well no luck finding anything at Home Depot. If anyone knows where exactly to find it at a big chain type store and what its called ... please share. I walked around for about 15 mins didnt find anything that would work and was clear other then packing tape....

u can get the films from HD too, they sell replacement ones...

i got a few of em not too expensive and already cut to fit. if u take em and put in the freezer or something theyll work multiple times. just take on and off when u need too.

The stock HD 3m protective film for a fatboy will not protect the back fender from the stock 07 fatboy seat's flaps.

Otherthan finding this product 3m, cutting it to size or pieces of it to stick under the flaps, I see no other solution short of buying a different seat with no flappy flaps (lol)

I now have a Sidekick seat on my fatty

I have the same problems on both sides of my pillion pad. I wish I had seen post sooner, my bike is an 06 fatboy less than 3000 miles w/ a good bit of 2 up. Real bad wear marks as a result. I guess solo seat is out.

You might be able to buff them out, I would do so rather soon.. The dealer buffed out the marks on my fatty.. I had only put 500miles on it by the time I got it to the dealer tho. Anyways I have my old tins still, marks gone and in great shape paint wise.. no dents, need to sell em.... So buy mine, custom paint em, slap it on urs and sell ur old tins like I am trying too :P

Seems like Harley uses a lot tape to fasten stuff on their bikes. Reflectors, tank strip, under the seats. Where else?
