Default Roland Sands Clarity Covers

I have three Roland Sands clarity covers installed on my 2013 Harley Softail Slim. Derby, Cam and Rocker Box. All installed by an authorized Harley Davidson dealership mechanic. Each one is cracked and leaking oil. Performance machine is unable to send me replacement parts on the Rocker Boxes because they don't have the parts. What does this say about the quality of Roland Sands and the warranty? Serious safety and customer service issue! Roland, I hope you are listening...

Thanks for the heads up! I was thinking about the can cover for my Breakout but that very issue was my main concern!

Did you tighten those? Someone obviously overtightened those screws. When I installed mine (I have all 3, 2 seasons no issues) I didnt have to mess with the screws that attach the windows. I can understand RS not warrantying something that was obviously overtigtened. If the dealer did it and when RS gets some new parts, if they are going to charge you, the dealer should foot that bill. I agree that they should have some replacement parts in stock, but to me, the bigger issue is whoever cracked that window to begin with.

Those are definitely cracks caused by over-tightening. Looks like the mechanic didn't torque them to correct specs.

You don't have enough post to see pics yet Gunner. Go run your post count up and come back.

Your mechanic probably torqued em to HD specs... I'm sure they have different specs since they're not metal.

Sorry dude but I am with the others. I have had them on my last three bikes (including my current Slim) and have not had a single issue. I am sure your HD stealership will blame the product but that really does look like it has simply been overtightened... a lot...

Sorry that you are having problems...but why would PM send you RS parts?

Performance machine is unable to send me replacement parts
I'm w/ others here though. Someone did not torque them to manufacturer specs. BTW, sounds like they are replacing the other two parts.
