Default Does this happen to anybody else?

I have 2013 Slim with 2500 miles on it. Went for a ride today about 60 miles and stop for lunch at about 11:30. 45 minutes later walked out to the parking lot and the bike would not turn on. This is the third time this has happened. So I pushed it to a shady area to let it cool of and five minutes later was able to turn it on. Does anybody know what causes this?

I've never had that happen and you'd think it would here in Texas, if it was caused by over heating. Good Luck in fixing it.

Bad battery (dead cell)? Maybe a bad ignition switch?

I've never had any issues like that...I don't know kinda sounds like a bad ignition but I'm not too savvy with electrical. Should still be under warranty?

That sounds like a loose connection some place. Get it back to the dealer and let them sort it out. That is what the warranty is for.

That sounds like when you have a bad starter. When it gets hot the resistance goes up. Your bike is probably too new, but maybe it was a faulty OEM.
Let your dealer figure it out.

Mine did something similar, it was a bad starter switch. A buddy of mine had a bad starter relay in the fuse box.

Take it into the Stealer and let him earn his money.

Does the bike have a security system?

Possible low/bad battery in the fob if you have security
