There is no security system on it. The first time I brought it in it duplicated the problem right at the door. So they know what it is doing, or not doing.

Dose your slim have a master fuse? If so try changing it, had a fuse once that would quite conducting current once it got hot. However once it cool off it would start working again. Just something cheap to try.

Just out of curiosity...and I know this may be a long shot, but if Im not mistaken, some bikes will crank or start with the clutch fully engaged and some will not until the clutch is engaged. Is there anything that you do differently between when the bike cranks and doesn't? I remember a guy one time put leather wraps on his clutch and brake handles and the bike wouldn't start. After a while he realized that the leather wasn't allowing him to crank the bike because it wouldn't fully engage.

Like I said...long shot but you never know.

I will try to change the fuse. I only have to disengage the clutch if I have it in gear. But when it fails there is no power at all.

My 2013 Slim has done that a few times, won't crank, start or anything, if i shut everthing down abd try again it will start , also I installed the speedometer 74776-11A with the tach and occasionally the illumination fails, took it to the dealer today and found that there is a software update to the BCM (Body Control Module) for intermittent electrical problems, going in tomorrow to see if it fixes the problem
