Improvised Breakout Saddlebags
Well I'm taking a ride from San Diego to Las Vegas this weekend with my buddy and needed some room for storage since my backpack probably isn't gonna cut it. Took my Willie and Max saddlebags from my 89 Sportster and was able to get them to fit (without support bars).
Now I just need to find a way to secure the bags from flopping around in the wind (they are secured on top of the fender by the pillion seat) but the sides need tied down in at least one spot.
Will try to secure the side mounts tomorrow.
Not bad for $150.00 (Willie and Max Raptor).

Just put some tape on the swingarm so you don't scratch it. Then you ziptie those *****.
I got the swingarmbag on mine, and even though it came with leatherstraps, I just use zip-ties. Cut them when you wanna remove the bags, and use some new ones to attach them again.
Btw. I'm not worried about scratches. You have showbikes, and then you have bikes that are supposed to be ridden (mine). So Im not taking any responsible for potesial paintdamages
