Default saddlebags for a Fatboy

Now before you say "really?" Read the post.

Taking a multiday, multistate trip next month on my Fatboy. I'm afraid with the changing of the seasons and all the weather may be more unpredictable so having to plan accordingly. As such I'm afraid I don't have enough storage space with my current tourpak. So, I'm thinking of some fairly inexpensive saddlebags to throw on. For the record they will not stay on the bike after the trip.

Aside from HD bags, anyone have any recommendations or experience for throw on bags? Amazon has a set that's only about $80.00 and it had decent reviews. But ideally I'd like some feedback from someone with a Fatboy.

Thanks guys...

If we ride together she doesn't need storage space, the Limited has plenty for both of us!

Check the classified section there are a few pretty good deals on bags there.
Grab these bags for a great price. https://www.hdforums.com/forum/softa...-350-00-a.html

Boss bags on my 08 with the quick detachable mounts. I have taken them off and carried them to the room with me. There not cheap but good quality. Mine are 5 years old and look like new. I did order the covers for the posts where the bags attach to make it look better when the bags are off.

I have a set of the detachable LeatherPros on my 2008 Fat Boy, easily removable but since I put them on I rarely take them off. Just use to throwing extra stuff in the bags, especially when one of my daughters go along for a ride.
