Here is a little better view of the large.
The website lists all the sizes and has pictures of the inside as well.

Ok thanks. Gonna kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Was looking for a drivers backrest and a sissy bar bag.

If you ride solo it's great. If you ride two up just take it off and put it behind the sissy bar on the rack (if you have one)

We shopped around and bought a set of used HD bags that match the seat of hubby's 09 Fat Boy with all the mounting hardware included (quick release) for $500. I talked him out of buying them new when he got the bike. I didn't think I would ever find a deal - LOL! But we paid about half price. He is happy and my bank account is too.

I'm beating myself to death trying to decide whether or not the large bag is just too large in appearance to leave on the bike everyday

I'm in the same boat.
Looking for something inexpensive because for 90% of the time, the bags will sit in my garage collecting dust. I enjoy the FatBoy bag less.

This bags look like it might be up our alleys as far as price and you can get quick disconnect hardware for $99.
