Hi All,

I am new to the HD Forum, so hey to everyone. I want to put passenger floorboards on my 2007 Softail Springer Classic. From what I have read, it looks like HD used to make a kit for these models and then discontinued it. Has anyone been able to either find the kit or come up with a reasonable alternative? Thanks!

That is very strange - they have all the covers and accessories for them but don't show the full kit anymore on website. I would try the local dealer who might have a pair in stock. If not they can check the dealer database to see who does.

 

This should be your part number. 50955-00 The FL Springer contained an exhaust mount on the left side bracket for the tru duals from the factory.

It is disco'ed, but a dealer or ebay may have it around

If you use aftermarket tru duals (or some other exhaust that does not require the use of the FLSTS left hand rear exhaust mount), you can use the standard softail passenger floorboard mounts without the exhaust mounting bracket that the unique-to-the-FLSTS unit has.

The standard softail passenger floorboard mounts are what I am using. Just bolts right up. Gotta update my sigpic to show those things on the bike... One of these days...

I was able to track down one of the kits for the passenger footboards for the Springer. I contacted Suburban HD, Thiensville, WI, and they helped me track down one of the kits. Probably one of the last remaining kits around from what I understand. Anyway, next step is to get these put on the bike.

 

Glad you were able to find them. They should be a fairly easy install with a few tools.
