Default 2013 Fatboy Cam

I know this has been beat to death, but i have my 2013 fatboy at my local indy shop right now and am considering a cam swap. It has the 103 stock. Putting on V&H BSS with PCV and air intake. My indy recommended andrews 50h or 57h. Im looking for low to midrange torque. Can anybody give me some insight to these or others?

Andrews 26H for very low end: 1800 -5200 rpm. 57H for 2200-5500 rpm.

I have the CR575 and I'm very happy with it.

I've heard great things about the Andrew 57h cam. That's what I plan to go with.

If you call Andrews, and you're not planning on doing extensive engine mods, the 57H is the only one they'll recommend. It was designed specifically for the 103 engine. I have it in my 12 Heritage. The performance increase is significant (along with PCV, a more free flowing air cleaner and exhaust) -- plus 20hp and plus 16 ftlbs torque. Two thing to note though -- my gas mileage took a serious hit and the cam makes the bike louder. Even though the low and mid performance is much improved, don't expect the bike to pull strong in 6th at low RPMs -- it's an overdrive gear mostly.

Well, hard to nail down exactly because of my uncontrollable right wrist. But with frequent hard acceleration it was approx 37mpg before and 30mpg after. On flat straight freeway at 65mph, the max was approx 46mpg before and 39mpg after. Not terrible but with the 5 gallon tank not great either. The price you pay for more power. I've also owned a BMW R1200GS for 8 years -- 1200cc air cooled twin with about 10 more hp than my modified Heritage. The GS is faster in a straight line (and in the curves) and gets about 10mpg better all around -- go figure.

Looking at their catalog shows the 57 pretty much mimics the 37 in timing events and the 37 is a great all around cam, but I might be biased!
