Default HELP!!! How do you knock the center out of the stock baffle????

Help - 2013 Breakout btw? I've tried using a holesaw to drill the forward part of the exhaust out, I've tried hammering it out (from both sides) using a steel pipe and anything else that I could hammer in it. Which way do I hammer, how in the flip do I get that center piece out?

I think it depends on what year; the newer models, it's easy, the older ones, not so much. However, I could be wrong.

Check out American custom exhaust, site sponsor. They take your pipes and do it for you cheap and they have multiple types of baffles that you can change in minutes. My brother and I had them do ours and sounds great. They have a website.

That is the catalytic converter. They can be tough when new and intact. I would just get a new drill bit, maybe 1/2" and drill all around the perimeter of it until it comes out.

I don't want American customs to make me one, I want to mod it myself. Thanks though.

You'll have to drill it using a bit extension. Start smaller and then step up until you get the size hole you want. I will warn you though, if you completely take out the catalytic material and then drill the center you may lose power, and it still won't sound all that great. Ask me how I know I wish I had just been patient and left the damn thing alone till I can save enough to get the exhaust I really want. YMMV though, good luck with it!
