Default Belt tensioner

So I just recieved my wheel back from Ride Wright after riding for two years on the wrong hub and sending the wheel back twice to come to this conclusion. Now my friend who happens to be a backyard mechanic put the wheel back on but suggest I bring the bike by the HD shop to have them properly adjust the belt with the special tool. Any thoughts??

The 'special tool' is not much. Just adjust the tension until you can turn the belt 90 degrees with your fingers. Then make sure it's aligned. You'll be good to go.

Just remember if you hear a whining or humming noise in the back when you decel your running the belt too tight. Did that once.
