I might need one of those chopped fenders...I still like the bobtail but that looks good.

ORIGINAL: clueless

the one thing I dont like about the SERT is that you can not pull down the map from the SERT to your laptop! Ie. get it tuned and want to save that map incase it gets fried. or tweak map and load the tweaked map - NOPE.

Dealer will say they will save it for you... but you can not take a current map and pull it down from the SERT. you can with the PCIII ... send it up or pull it down from the PCIII.
Anyone dumb enough to load a map into a SERT and not keep the working copy on the computer is crazy. If you have a sert and have it dyno'd demand the map. It's yours, you paid for it. And it don't matter if they tell you it's their work. You paid them for that work on your ride.

You can tweak the map. Save it to computer load it into the ECM. As many times as you want.

Who cares if you can download a map from the PCIII. That doesn't make the motorcycle run any better.

And if your ECM buys the farm, the dealer sends it to Harley with the new ID number and Harley either reprograms it or loads the id into a new one.

Just a thought on another subject. Limit the DPI on posted photo's to 72dpi, and it would keep us from having to scroll back and forth to read a distorted thread.

With the problams people are having with the PCIII, and the response they are getting out of the manufacturer, you couldn't pay me to use one. I'm happy with my sert.

The above comments are opinions posted by me and in no way are directed at anyone in this thread.

Just installed the PCIII on my 07 Night Train and the thing is running like a scalded ape!! No problems whatsoever.

To each his own....
