Default Question on Samson Exhaust

I have a 2011 deluxe and i went with the 39" cholos. my question is will this work with the chrome inner primary cover it looks as though the shift linkage will not clear. has anybody had this issue and if so did you tweak it to make it work. thanks

With the special shift linkage that they sent with my Cholo's there is 1/4" clearance between the linkage and the inner primary WITHOUT the chrome cover.

Hope this helps.

Might call Sampson direct and ask them.

I have the chrome inner cover on my 05. I used to have the Samson true duals and had no problem with clearance. Not sure about a 2011.

My heat shield is so close to my inner primary chrome cover that its probably touching it. Ive been running it all summer with no problems though so I don't think its an issue.

Samsom TD's seem to fit a little different from kit to kit and bike to bike. You will be able to tweak things around a very small amount so hopefully for you it will be enough for your setup.

Others with a clearance issue to the chrome inner primary have dremeled a small notch in it...you cant see it under the pipe, no biggie. Much better than going without IMO
