I gotta make me some crash bars. They woulda saved my bike and a blood clot in my femoral artery. Glad things turned out okay for you considering.

I think it was Plato who asked that very same question a few years back.

Alberta is seriously hazardous!
Send a picture and details about your wreck to Per Lindby. The guy is great. He might swap you a testimonial for a new set of Lindbars. Glad you are ok.

Finally got the bike back today, 1 month later since the accident.

Got them to throw on a chrome brake pedal arm and Brake pedal pad at the same time.

Oh yea, emailed my story to Lindby, and they hooked me up with a free t-shirt and some stickers. They also offered to sell me a replacement Engine guard at cost, but I told them, the ******** insurance was covering the cost. lol.

Thanks dude. Paint still needs to be fixed, and I'm in physio for my knee, but yea it definitely could have been worse.

Actually happened in Calgary. I'm working out here, so I brought the bike here for a couple months, as I spend more time here than on days off back in BC. but yea Richmond is pretty bad. On my last days off, my buddy and I were driving around in Richmond talking about how horrible it would be to ride there, you'd almost want to honk your horn, or rev some loud pipes every 20 secs just to make idiots aware of you, but even with that, I'm sure some dumb *** will still manage to write you off.

It was funny, as we were in the landsdowne mall parking lot (In Richmond), and my buddy goes, " dude, look at all the bumpers on cars in the parking lot... damaged, damaged, damaged, damaged..." LOL. no joke
