Default Regret Changeing Exhaust

I installed a V.H. big shot long exhaust on my 06 Heritage Classic. I find that this exhaust system is very loud, however it has no or very little tone. If I had it to do again, I wouldn't. Has anyone ever ben displeased with their exhaust after installed.

Might want to try quiet baffles. I've read that others have done this and they seem to be pleased.

Yup, I didn't like my big shots longs because they were too LOUD

Quiet baffles did cut the noise some, but they also improved the tone.
I love my pipes now.

Quiet Baffles make a world of difference , and pretty cheap.

Give them a try.

I just put BS Standards on mine. Haven't ridden it yet so the jury is still out. But the plan was to ride it for a bit and then decide whether or not to get the QB's.

When I fire mine up in my garage its loud. But when I'm riding I can barely hear them.

I had considered changing out the exhaust on my FatBoy, but after listening to the tone of various systems, I decided that I preferred the tone I'm getting with the "old style" (no crossover pipe) Screamin' Eagle II's.

They have a very deep tone without being 'over the top' and too loud under normal conditions. They will bark when you get on the throttle, but don't draw too much attention with light throttle use in residential areas.

That is true. My neighbors are going to miss that!
