Default Cable Clamps

My Heritage has stainless braidedcables installed by previous owner. Both throttle and clutch cables are not secured to the bars and I believe this is causing problems. The throttle cablesjust hang from the adjusters. I think this is working on where the elbows go into the throttle and is creating cable adjustment problems. The clutch cable apears a little sloppy in the perch. I think this is from the cable moving around when making turns. I believe cable clamps from the bars to the cable would anchor things better. What do you guys think and what is everyone using? Thanks.

I don't clamp any of the cables on the bars. Just the clutch cable on the front of the frame, and the brakeline on the back of the tripletree and on the forktube. I have had no issues.

new cables will stretch a little over time, adjusting them is normal. You are supposed to have 1/8" play in the clutch lever and a little in the trottle cables.

You didn't specify what kind of bars you have. But if you have ape hangers, here is my moto with clamps to hold the clutch cable, brake line and throttle lines.
