Default Drilling holes in stock exhaust

Has anybody just drilled holes in ends of Breakout stock exhaust. Worked well on my V rod. But not heard of anybody doing this on Breakout yet. I like the look of the stock exhaust two tone

It is a little louder but it still don't sound good. I have a 5/8" hole in mine but am waiting for the money train to come so I can buy a good exhaust.

Default Exhaust

Punched out the center plug and removed cat. Doesn't sound bad and is fairly loud. Wanted to wait a few months until a lot of the new stuff comes out for this bike before making a decision on pipes.

Cheap slipons would be less work and sound better in the long run.

Not much work to just drill holes in ends of pipes trying to get baffles out is and do not want that anyway. Sound ok when I get on it stock but that quiet sewing machine at idle stinks

Wouldn't added holes effect the back pressure?

I did my FLD, sounds a little louder, suits me just fine. It's getting louder as I ride because the muffler has fiberglass packing in it and it's slowly getting blown out. Four 1/2" and four 3/8 holes.
