Samson Cholos

OK you fellow cholo guys, ( I can say that now, now that my 39"'s are on my bike), especially you guys with an 04, 05 or 06 model bike. My left side head pipe is sticking out to far from my oil tank, at least I think it is. I had seen where this has happened to a few other people, StudioPeg being one of those I think I read a few months back. Is there a trick to getting them pulled in tight and tucked in tight up against the oil tank on the left side of the bike? I have seen bikes on here to where they stick out an inch or two to where they are snug up against the oil tank. If anyone can help me out with that it would be greatly appreciated. I was told I could cut a very small piece off of the head pipe to pull it in tighter but I would be afraid it would **** them outward down at the end if I did that. I prefer cutting being the very last resort. Thanks in advance for anyones or everyones help.

I couldn't adjust mine in or out much, you get what you get and it might be a combination of bike build variation as well as manufacturing variation at Samson.
Personally I think the whole thing is a little over blown unless you want to wear shorts and flip flops. I occasionally touch my leg on the pipe especially when backing up but for a second of contact I don't even feel it with jeans on. Its not like its red hot right?
Tony, didnt you get the ceramic coating? Let us know how it works out for you.

Yes Motown Strag I did. I got the long head pipe on the right side of the bike and the 2 smaller head pipes on the left side of the bike chrome/silver ceramic coated. That is the one mod I look most forward to seeing how well it works. I have a TON of private messages asking me to let them know how it well it works. I'm going to get the bike cleaned up and then take off, get a few miles on it and see how they are. In case anyone is wondering, I paid $125.00 for that here in the outer Chicago area. I will soon see if that is money well spent or not. The only bad thing is I have nothing to compare it to with these pipes. I guess all I will really be able to say is it's hot, it's damn hot or it was worth the 125 bucks.
