My new Customized Comfort seat.
Well, I got this cheap Lepera Silhouette Bullet seat and decided I will spend some money to make it the 'distance' seat on the bike.
I got a local guy to do the stitching and piping, He was supposed to also do my barebones but that won't be the case he promised 10 days and delivered the seat in 70 days (no kidding !).
but the seat quality is so far looking good.
I am not sure about the looks but it is far more comfortable and we modified a bit for back support, tomorrow is first long test ride

300CAD$ for recovering , reshaping and adding 'pink gel' for long distance comfort, today I rode for 7 hours with 6 hours saddle time and it was pretty good .
I am not very happy with the work because there was supposed to be a few things changed that he forgot, only because he delayed the work for like 8 weeks and claims he forgot what we agreed on.
Alas, I would not recommend the same guy to anyone else, but the seat did change the bike look, so I do recommend the customization.
I am looking for another vendor to customize my barebones, that would do the work in less than 10 weeks

Not my style but that's what's great about Harley, something for everyone.
Bummer about the time wasted, we have a guy down here that shows up to all of the bike nights and will modify, carve, recover or add Gel while you wait. A bit pricey in my opinion but since you pull your seat at the show and ride home with it a few hours later, its worth it. He does not take mail order work though. Too bad. I'm sure if you look around you will find a more eager shop.
