I'd add some oil back, tilt your bike to the right to get the syringe over toward the opening and fish it out with the tool mentioned above.
Next time use her turkey baster.
Bocifus
Yea, gonna try to add some oil if I can't fish it out with the tool or with the hanger.
I asked her if we had a turkey baster but of course we didn't, I could have just gone to the supermarket 4 blocks away from the house and bought one but of course I didn't think of that till afterwards lol
The snot picker should work but if not take the filter off a shop vacuum (since you have residual oil).
Place a screen (panty hose/ window screen/ thin sock.. something) at the motor suction end of vacuum hose.
Tape a small diameter hose to vacuum hose and go searching until you find it.
alain how bouot some pics LOL
you will get that outta there in no time
my .o2 cents
would a magnet w/ built in light work ( the extender type? ) its retractable
when i overfilled oil i used a rag dipped it in or paper towels twisted up like a doob
Magnet won't work man, that stupid siringe is plastic. Ill have some pics for you when I get back on my computer. Can't post any pics from this stupid iPhone.
If all of the oil is out, can you try making an adapter for a shop vac to get into the tank? Had to do that to fish broken glass from inside a fog light assembly....
Affix a sturdy pin or needle to a long screw driver and jab the plastic syringe and pull out. If that does not work I would revert to the tool shown. Buy a turkey baster when at the store too. I have had to use it more than once. Slight hijack here but I can't find my stock oil dip stick, I am running the old analog style temp gauge and it has 2 oil level marks on it but the top one, I assume is the "fill line" is really low, down deep in the tank. That can't be the oil fill line, can it? My oil level is a good 3"'s higher in my tank on this style dipstick. On a stock dipstick how high is the fill line on it? I have never had an issue with overfill or blowing my dip stick out like I have read here by a few guys. The top line on this stick is only about an inch and a half up on this stick from the bottom of it, that can't be right, can it?
