Is there a trick to the fork lock? My previous H-D's all had the Security/ABS package so I didn't worry about the fork lock, but this one doesn't have it, so... I'd kind like to lock the forks.
Owner's Manual says to just insert the key, push in, turn. It won't budge.
The touring bikes have a rubber doughnut (part of fork stop)on fork tube that sometimes needs to be compressed a little bit so lock can be in position to engage or disengage. This is done by turning bars to the left and holding bars while turning lock key. Sometimes requires a tug.
Mine doesn't work either for some reason. I have a different set of triple trees on mine, but they are harley trees and were dealer installed so it should work. I have tried jiggling, zigging, zagging, pretty much everything. I still can't get mine to budge either.
