i got my chrome one from drag specialties. i used some washers as spacers because i didn't want it so close to the fender that it could scratch. the other thing about this one is the license plate light it basically useless. custom dynamics make a frame with leds to light the plate on a few page later in the catalog. which i will get someday and the taillight without the plate window someday also. page 1338 and the next few pages have some frames listed.

 

Or you can go with the HD and just Plasti dip it in matte black, check my rims

 

May I ask you recommend to me your back break light and blinkers, looks like something I want to consider: are they smoked? LED?

Tail light is the smoked D2Moto Led and the blinkers have Customdynamics led's and smoked lens.

 

the kuryakyn 3148 says not compatable with 2013 lo, where there any mods required or did it fit right from supplier ? sounds like it was a simple "replace the old one " job

I have the one from Kuryakyn. Its decent, unfortuatly even if you get the black one, the screws are chrome and your gonna have to live with it or get it powder coated.

 

I installed the Custom Dynamics curved laydown mount a couple weeks ago. Simple and easy to install. No frame. Great product.

Installed the hogrida yesterday. Arrived about 3 days after ordering. Nice piece. Easy install. Just had to drill out my plate a little bit for fit.
