Yes, my C & C Fastback is MUCH more comfortable than the stock seat. I find it to be more comfortable than a Corbin Gunfighter and Lady or the HD badlander or a Softail Standard seat. I bought all of the other seats from e bay and tried them because I could not get comfortable on rides more than 50 miles .
I found C & C through E Bay and then when I called for more info I talked to Chuck (owner) and found out that they were in the LA area he said to come by and look at the seats.

Once I saw them for the money I had to try one, and it is the best seat I have owned for me and my bike. It looks great and gives me all of the support and comfort that I need . I easily ride 150 -180 miles before a break to get gas and have no problems.

C & C has a return policy and they will work with you to custom fit your seat to your needs, more or less padding, move you forward or back ect.

Two of my friends with softails (Heritage and aTrain) both have C & C seats now and they are very happy.
Sounds like they don't build the seat until you order it. Do they charge extra for customization?

If you have a back problem you really need one with a Driver's Backrest.
For duel riding I highly recomend the Solo from Mustang with the matching pasenger pad.
The rear seat should be good for a passenger, it's 14" wide.
This seat combo looks really good too with the Driver's Backrest.
The Driver's Backrest is very adjustable and just pulls right out if you want to remove it. (no bolts)
I'm 6' and 200 lbs with a38" waist,so I bought the Wide Solo. [sm=smiley20.gif]

It's so easy to start slumping and that's what kills my back.
The Backrest will help big time with that.

My sig pic below, has the skinny rear pad which is only 6" wide.
It looks great but whose chickie has a 6" wide butt?

Sorry about that people.
I used to big of a picture there.
I thought it had been reduced.

Live and learn.

Gee wiz! I didn't even think about a back rest for long hauls! And to have one that can easily be removed. That just might be the ticket!

Thanks!

I have a 05 Fat Boy and added a Mustang seat last year. My wife loves it. With the stock seat more than a 50 mile ride was too much. Once I added the Mustang she could ride for hours. It also helped me adding additional support to my back on longer rides without her. We tried the Butt Pads on the stock seat and they were not worth the money. Love the seat.

I do not have a FatBoy, but I just installed the Mustang Wide Studded Solo with backrest on my Heritage Classic. Having the backrest allows me to ride in a very comfortable position. The backrest can be adjusted forward and back using the thumbscrew and like Texas Fat Boy stated, it can be raised up or down without using a bolt. I'm lovin' my Mustang!!!

Thanks for the info guys.I like the looks of the C&C Seats but may have to go with the Mustang!

Wife has given the "OK" and the cash is in hand. I can't believe this is as difficult as it has been!

Another vote for the mustang solo w/backrest. I can ride for hours at a time without the horrible back pain I had with the stock seat on my standard.
