Default Clutch not fully disengaging when bike is NOT running.

Ever since I replaced my clutch cable if the bike is in gear and NOT running it won't fully disengage. When the bike is running and in gear I can pull clutch in and it rolls freely. Also if it's in gear when I start it it does NOT lurch forward. Should I be concerned?

Don't be concerned. Without the motor running (and you're trying to push the bike) you aren't spinning the clutch basket around fast enough to separate the plates completely even though the lever is pulled in.

There will always be more resistance moving a bike in gear with the clutch in as opposed to having it in neutral (clutch in or out). It just has to do with the plates stcking together slightly. Normal.

Thank you, you are the 3rd person to tell me it's of no concern.

Mine does the same thing. In fact while not a lurch, it does give a very small bump in motion when I crank it in first gear.

Same/Same on mine. I posted this about a year ago with the same feedback.
