Heartland has a holder that attaches to rear foot peg. It states it is for a rocker but it also fits a Breakout.

Yeah, that one is sweet, but super expensive for a license plate holder.

I made a similar idea with a bolt and a Sportster belt guard. I know it isn't nearly as cool, but it was free.

For the Canadian plate mount, here is all the part numbers.

Yep, same idea as 24v, made my own. Cheap, effective and I think looks pretty badass too.

I like your primary cover - who makes that?

I did this right after I read your post. Thanks a lot for the FREE mod! I personally think it looks a lot better and I haven't ran into my license plate since.

I "made" the logo, and sent it to story808 and he cut it into a primary. Dude does amazing work, and he's super quick too.

Thank you (old thread but helpful nonetheless) - just did it on mine took like 5 mins tops. BTW you can use the outer part of the plate bracket. when you turn the license plate vertical and put the plate's two top bolts on to upper part of bracket, slide the outer part of plate bracket that you took off up from the bottom of the license plate, and you'll see it lines up with two holes on the upper part of bracket. use two low-head bolts to secure the bracket halves together and push it up so it locks over the plate, then insert the bottom two plate screws, done. And it still looks completely factory, actually looks like it came that way from HD
