I'm getting ready to buy a new set of wheels for my 08 softail custom. I'm having a bitch of a time finding pictures of softail custom or even standard's with fat spoke style wheels.

I really would love to see your bike if you have one.

I'm looking at Ride Wright and Hog Pro wheels. 50 spoke FAT Daddy style.

Also I'd like your opinion on which you think might look better on my bike. I'm really completely up in the air over full chrome or chrome rim with black spokes.

What do you think? Here is a picture of how my bike is atm:

 

Here are some ride wrights I had on my other bike. I think they would both go good and depends on what you want to go for. I like the shiny wheels... blacked out look good too. I think the black ones would look good on yours. That is if your tins are black. Can't tell if it is just a dark color or black on the pictures.

My vote is the black and chrome ones. I think it'd match up well with what you currently have going. Both will look good though.

 

Thanks man. Those look fantastic on that bike. I'm going to go with full chrome. And for the record my bike is black but I'm a chrome fiend.

Is that a chromed swing arm or just a chrome cover for the swing arm? pretty sharp looking bike.

 

Nothing is set in stone till I place my order and I too agree that the black spokes would look good on my bike. My worry is that they won't stand out enough though. I would love them to just look bad ***. I'll give it more thought.

 

It's a chrome swing arm I put on it. If you like chrome and bling, the stainless ones would be the one to go with.

Bad a$$ bikes here! I would go with the Crome wheels but I've been told I fall in the chrome Hoe category. I put a set of 50 spoke Chrome Fat Daddy from Hogpro on my bike. The spokes are actually stainless steel...
