I bought my bike several months ago and everyone kept saying "let's ride" I have discovered that they meant ride to the next bar and sit for a few hours. Ask em to ride a few hours away and they are like "new we are just gonna ride around here."

So, do a majority of people ride or bar hop?

 

The answer is yes....

Some days its 500miles before lunch.... Some days it's slow and easy "barhopping"...

Figure out what suits you and go do it....

 

I never drink and ride! Now eating, that's a different story!

Bar hopping is just that bar hopping. And the local gendarmes are a watchin...

 

My shortest ride is usually about 130 miles round trip for a quick lunch. If I am riding around the area with friends we will ride about 200-275 miles. During the summer I'll do 500-800 mile weekend trips. I don't want to bar hop, I got my bike to ride. For me, its not the destination, but the ride getting there that's important.

I want to ride, I can sit a bar with my truck if I want. I bought the Ultra to ride, and ride is what I do!!!

Before I had a bike I thought bar hopping sounded great. But I never drink and ride, so bar hopping drinking diet cokes isn't too exciting lol.

 

I always burn the first tank of fuel before stopping. No bar hopping these days. I did plenty of that in my younger years.
