The badlander seat was more comfortable. I am looking for a better seat but because of the way the fender mounts so low in the struts a regular seat wont fit and I think I may have to pay big bucks for something custom.
I've only done about 50/60 miles on it and sofa so good! Doesn't have as much butt support as the badlander yes but I suspect I'll be able to live w it, besides still far cry better than stock.

I was looking fw to have had the Boss solo seat for softails which according to RSD web ought to fit, but it doesn't!! Once the torrential downpours stop ill put more miles on the and and revise my review

That fender looks bad ***! Best alternative to the Heartland kit I've seen yet. Do you have to cut off the factory strut horns to mount this thing up?

Sierra, Yes you have to cut the struts but easy task bolts right up no problem

I used that same Kustomwerks fender on an old evo chopper. Here is what I did to rotate it down on the tire more. Leave the front hole open and then fill in the back two with a Mig. Rotate the fender where I like and redrill the holes. It can be a pain but it works. Also when doing this you have to be sure by doing this the swing arm will clear the integrated struts. Therefore some grinding may be in order.
