remove that tape at the risk of your paint, if you ever plan on putting the stock seat back on...

Nice ride jimb, my seat islike your's, so yeah i don't go on those 3 to 4 hundredmile daily ride's, but love seat except if get lucky and sweet thing want's RIDE on bike and little bike.lol

Mammoth Choppers solo here, it's comfortable for a few hours, anyway. Very well shaped, but slightly hard. I did remove the clear 'tape' on the fender.

I have a High End "Badger" , very comfortable and good looking. And yes , remove the tape.

I have the Danny Gray butt crack solo seat on my 05 train. It's all leather and the price point is rite. Got it from Dennis Kirk cat. Sorry no pics as of yet, but coming soon.

I habve the Mustang solo and a Mustang fender bib to cover up the tape.............
