Default Help with Faring on Heritage

I am trying to find out if a fairing from an Ultra Classic will mount on my Heritage??? I want a fairing and my wife wants tunes so it seems a win win if I can get mounts for it. I know there are aftermarket fairings but a family member has this complete fairing that will only cost me getting it painted and mounts

Heritage Forks are narrower than a Touring HD so it will take some modification. It can be done but I dont think there is any bracket kits out there, you will have to make it yourself. There are some threads on here with people using the stock windshield mounts and then attaching them to the fairing, will probably take some fiberglass and welding skills. Most of the HD Fairings that Ive seen that are fitted to softails dont have the right angles IMO and dont always flow as well as a aftermarket that was made to fit the bike

If your not good in the shop and have to pay for the mods and the paint it may end up a lot easier and cheaper to just buy a after market fairing to fit.

Passenger will hear the speakers in the batwing

Fabricating and welding I can do but I will leave the paint to a professional. I just thought there maybe brackets out there or at least ones I can build from.

I rode a Roadking with an aftermarket fairing last year
The stereo on that thing blows the one on the EGC out
of the water.

It's hard to get those AM fairings to fit right on a Heritage.
They stand straight up like a barn door.
It's why I didn't do it.
Plus you sit down lower, so you're looking right at the back of
it.

All things to consider.
