this is the guy i was talking to about this 07 tranni issues. Please folks don't get all in a huff about this,just trying to pass on usefull information to the forum. Look at his backround yourself and figure outif the info is of any value.

The 6-speed transmission's 5th gear has straight-cut gearing which is inherently stronger, but also louder. The noise is not a "problem" nor an indication of one.

Mr. Keim may be a great biker builder, but he should stick to what he knows. There's nothing useful about the information he gave you because it's wrong.

Vance & hines (Bigshots)WO bafflesand Amsoil will fix any trans/engine noise.

I just bought 07 deluxe ,it is sitting in my garage with 6 inchs of snow outside so I cant even take it for a ride,but I do go out and sit on it and hope !!!!!!!

thank you for thatthought on thebuilder. I would have never known that that info was bs if you had not said something. thanks. I had the same thought about the noise in that i know what gear i am in too. I have used it like that from the start. I guess time will be the only way one can tell if there is a problem with the tranni.
