Congrats! Seems like alot of sporty owners move up to softails. I did and I don't miss my nightster at all.

Congrats! You'll be amazed at how much better the ride is. I switched too from a Sporty to a Dyna to a Softail. Love how my Blackline rides. Even my wife comments on how smooth it is compared to her Sportster when she takes it for a spin. Maybe I can convince her to get a Slim. If they only offer it with Pink flames, she'd go for it.

That's exactly what I did as well, all last year.
Started on a SuperLow, traded that in on a Switchback, then traded that in on a Slim - which I think I'll keep...
