My take on a tank lift.

Well it is finished. I went with 2 1/2" lift.
Used some leather from an old swing arm bag to cover the hole.
Cut some 1 1/2" flat stock, drill some holes, got some stainless 10mm bolts and black chrome acorn nuts from Ace, and some 1/4" fuel line for the crossover line.
Now for the reveal.

OK, this particular thread finally has me thinking about it. I can't believe that after having taken the past year and a ton of money getting the bike and everything else as low as I can get it, I'm now considering it. What am I looking at? it's an "06" Deluxe, parts?, kits?, cost? part #? PITA? The front end and tank are still off of it as of this writing because I'm 2 months behind on my winter mods. If it's not too huge of a cost I might try it but I don't want it to be too costly because if I don't like it it's coming right back off and going over to the "bad idea" pile in the corner of my garage.

We are in production on them right now. Don't know anyone else making them.
