You can go forwards and backwards.

Once you have the item you want to set the color for in view, hold both turn signals together and that item will be highlighted in the current color choice. Then use the left turn signals to lower the number and the right turn signal to raise the number. IIRC, if you push the turn signal repeatedly you will provide a course adjustment and if you push and hold the turn signal it is a fine adjustment.
