Question about Speedo/Tach combo (7090070A/7090072A)

Ok so now I'm pissed.
Talked HD tech support and told me that the fuel gauge will NOT work with my bike because it is carbureted. I'm not so much pissed off that it doesn't work with my bike as I already have a fuel gauge but what burns my *** up is that it doesn't tell you that when you check fitment.
Oh well. It still looks cool so I guess I'll keep it but be forewarned carb guys.

Thanks for the color tip. I am working on changing mine as well. Green if I can figure it out. At least with the fuel gauge issue there is a silver lining. Because in a dozen or so years when all our fuel injection systems are failing, your carbed bike will still be the cats a$$ when its time to work on it.
