Wind Deflector / Lowers

Wind Deflector / Lowers
Has anyone installed and tried something like the Memphis Shades lowers? They look like they might provide a bit more protection from air coming up under the windshield. My Springer windshield isn't that big to begin with... I thought a little more might help. Thoughts?

Yes, I have them on my fatgirl.
They are not bad at all. I didn't want to get the fangs from HD, and these were all I could find.
I do notice a huge difference with the wind, and the quality is good.
You can't beat them for the price.
Make sure you get the correct fitting bracket (they have diff sizes).

Since you have a Springer check out these from Kamco. I have a couple on my Heritage Springers.
Send Keith a note through ebay and double check fitment. Your detachable docking kit is the same as my bikes, so I'm guessing the shield is too.

I've got HD fangs on my bike, and the difference in highway comfort is night and day. I'm likely a party of one on this, but I like the way they look with the windshield detached, and I know that they increase frontal visibility from a safety perspective. Best money I've spent on my Fatboy.

I had the Memphis Shades lowers on my Street Bob, and LOVED the difference they made. Can't say I loved the look, but sometimes looks have to take a back seat to function and riding comfort.
Had the "fangs" on my Heritage and they worked really well also! And for some reason, on the Heritage I actually liked the way they looked. Or at least, didn't mind them.
