Hmm... if you're on the fence about the "fangs" maybe check out the soft lowers first. These will break a LOT of the wind and they're easily removable. I like how they look myself... http://www.leadermotorcycle.com/harl...n-rain-guards/

I really don't like those kinds of highway/crash bars so those would never do me any good.

I have leather soft lowers I had the local saddle and boot shop build me for my mustache bar. I like them a lot especially in winter they pull heat off the engine and circulate around my feet.

I also got some Kuryakyn air deflectors that attach under the 2 windshield mount bolts on either side, helps a ton with buffeting. They should work on a springer if it has similar WS mounting as an FL front end? hth

Default Fangs minus Shield

I have the fangs on my 03 classic, ride both with and without windshield. They make a difference both ways... Also seem to keep a lot of rain off ya when the roads are wet and the skies are leaking

Default I love the fangs....

The "fangs" work great. I still get plenty of air flow to keep me cool. I like the look of the bike better without them but I choose function over looks.
