I am going to be installing new pads on the front of my 08 Fatboy. Replacing the stock pads with Lnydell Z-series. I have the manual, done all the research, but still have a question. I have not read anyone using anti-squeal compound on the back of the pads. Is this not recommended?

When I put my Lyndall's on last year they squealed like 72 virgins the day they found out Osama was exterminated...and yes, I used anti squeal spray and it was the only way I found to eliminated it.
I have been using crc break quiet since the stock pads. I was told ithe squeal would go away after a while. When I did the 1k I put this stuff on the back of the pads and no squeal. Many pad changes since and I am still using the same bottle of crc.
I just put the Lyndalls up front and they squealed like crazy on slow speed stops. Took my caliper off and cleaned it really well, also beveled the leading edge of the pads and it hasn't squealed since.

So far for me not one noise, but I just got it out for some low-speed testing. I had read that if the pads get installed backwards (the little tip pointing up) they can make noise.
